Trip to Sabah - Mersilau

Bonjour mon amie.....


Hari ini ada mood untuk con't trip ke Sabah hehehehe

Pepagi lagi kitaorang bertolak ke Mersilau....cantik tempat ni...dia kat kaki G.Kinabalu

Cuaca memang sejuk kebetulan hari tu all of us agak bertuah sebab selalunya kabus dah ada time 9am. Tapi hari kitaorang pegi tu kol 9.30am pun kabus tarak nampak....sampaikan boleh nampak laban rata dari bawah....(punya la clear)

Lepas pegi mersilau, semua orang pegi breakfast...breakfst di Kinabalu Pine ni ala carte....bukan buffet...

Lepas ja breakfast...next destination was Poring Hot Spring...perjalanan amik masa dalam + - 1.30 jam jugak lah...Kat poring Hot Spring ni boleh pilih nak mandi kat public pool or private room. So disbbkan private room ni bleh kata mahal la gak. Kitaorg bagi chance kat makcik2 mandi kat dalam...hehehehe agipun kalo nak berkemban ke apa boleh jek.....bilik tu pun siap ada toilet and shower. Air panas pun laju ja.....aku, angah and boy decide to do canopy walk....adus...punyala penat berjalan...hari2 buat cam gini bole kurus .....!

Lepas penat berjalan atas titi gantung, turn kitaorg la plak untuk mandi.....hukhukhk mandi kat public pool ja....air panas punya laaaaa slowwwww hmmmmmm menda free mmg la camtu kan???? adat dunia...tgg la....

Pas mandi manda....rombongan kitaorg pegi la ke ladang teh Sabah...tempatnya so so lah...not tht interesting except if you join the guided tour which will cost you beberapa puluh ringgit seorang untuk round sekitar kilang n ladang teh.

Lepas habis melawat ladang teh, kitaorang proceed to pekan Mersilau pegi beli sayur2 untuk dinner...adik aku gatai nak makan durian...harga sebiji durian Rm16 (amik kau) gatai sangat nak makan...moral oof d story : durian kat Sabah mmg mahal.....even kat area KK pun...so tahan2 la perut korang except for ibu mengandung.....

Habis beli sayur, kitaorang balik hotel - have dinner - zzzzzz

Joining the french class

Bonjour.......hehehehehe

Tonight i attended the 6th class for french. It's quite interesting though. Walaupun blog trip pegi Sabah x siap lagi just to add here as my reference hehehehe

French is a romantic language why????? even aku pun x sure lagi kenapa hehehehe maybe bcoz of the nasal sound or perhaps is bcoz of the pronounciation (generally) tht make it sound

Tapi few days ago...one of my friend memang nak bagi aku jealous....dia bgtaw dia nak g paris bawak family g holiday (mentang2 la staff MAS) huhuhuhu. Moral of the story keja la dengan MAS or carila yr spouse from those who keja ngan MAS harharhar sungguh kejam cadangan yg ke2. Anyway, mende ni buat aku hangin....why?? bcoz i just start to learn frech and suddently he decide to visit paris...huhuhu. Apa pun...Insya Allah kalo ada rezeki sampai la aku ke sana

Journey to Kundasang

Ini gambar G.Kinabalu lepas habis pusing Kudat n Tip of Borneo (on d way to Kundasang)

• Perjalanan ke Kundasang (kaki G.Kinabalu) takes about few hours from Kudat. This is really tiring (tht's why we cancelled our plan to visit sandakan (9hrs beb) tis is crazy.
• All the way to Kundasang memang you all akan dapat lihat view yang cantik....esp the mountain side.
• We all sampai Mersilau dalam waktu petang...nak dekat malam gak la...pekan dia tersangat laaaa kecik...restaurant pun aku x nampak huhuhuhu
• So that night angah aku memulakan aktiviti memasak (periuk suma kawan dia bagi pinjam), sebelum ni aku dok mengutuk orang arab yang selalu masak kat bilik diorg, at last...Allah tu Maha Kaya....terkenalah btg hidung sendiri...huhuhuhu. Moral of d story 'Jgn dok mengutuk orang, sooner or later...benda yg korang kutuk akan jadi balik kat korang'

Journey to Tip of Borneo and Kudat

As you can see....tempat ni namanya Tip of Borneo or local panggil dia Simpang Mengayau..harap aku spell dia betul lah huhuhu

1st day

- Adik aku sampai dulu di KK, then aku sorang-sorang sampai dalam waktu tengahari kot..

- Sampai jek...kawan adik aku 'Boy' bawak kitaorang pegi tempat makan kat tepi pantai, nama apa aku tak ingat..tapi jalan-jalan ke situ semua nama negeri...huhuhuhu. Jalan Kedah pun ada..

-Then, kitaorang balik hamin lodge. Have shower n what not

- Evening ja...kitaorang pegi pantai.. which is i can't remember the name as well :( but it's very near to one golf club. Locals go there to play beach ball and picnic. Somehow, it is similar to Langkawi. :p so tak xcited sangat

- Malam, kitaorang pegi jemput mak-mak datin kat airport. Sebab flight diaorang laaa paling lambat... huhuhuhu why??? sebab kitaorang booking asing2. So kalo nak travel, maku sure you all decide fast enough to have same flight with each other.

- Then we have delicious dinner at a very far restaurant. it takes about 30 mins from the airport...lol...perut aku berkeroncong on the day to the rest. dan tak ketinggalan mak-mak datin semua merungut sebab jauh sangat. Sabo je laaa

2nd day

- Pagi2 lagi kitaorang depart from Hamin Lodge, pergi ke Kudat for Sunday Market

-Quit far from KK, it takes about 2 hrs one way to Kudat i guess

-Sampai ja kat tamu tu memang aku dapat lihat masyarakat pribumi Sabah yang bermacam-macam kaum

-Barang-barang yang dijual pun ada yang OK. My sister sibuk beli sayur...coz dia cakap kat Kundasang nanti(next trip) tak ada kedai makan yang buka sampai lewat malam huhuhu

-My mom and aunty-aunty sibut beli souviner and apalagi kalo bukan mutiara hikhikhik(bargaining skill mesti bagus kat cnie)

-Unfortunately, on the way nak balik. Van sewa kitaorang telah kena saman oleh polis trafik Sabah kua kua kua. Why??? sebab kitaorang parking kat roundabout huhuhu (nampak ja cam pekan koboi tapi you all kena la parking ikut peraturan). Siap polis tu parking depan van. Aduss

-Then we proceed to Tip of Borneo

-Very beautiful place with strong wind keep on blowing...

-Crystal clear water

Room reservation before depart to Sabah

Lama rasanya aku tak update blog nie, maybe busy...or buat-buat busy. Neways, dah dua bulan aku baru balik dari Sabah. Rasanya, aku patut share dengan orang apa yang you all patut tahu before going to Sabah.

Ok, start from room reservation.

Ada 3 tempat yang aku buat reservation
1. Hamin Lodge
2. Kinabalu Pine Resort
3. Marina Court Apartment

Hamin Lodge

- Hamin Lodge ni, kalo you all tengok dia nye website mmg la best...bilik dia mmg as wat it is shown on net. Anyhow, tis lodge tak sesuai kalo you all bawak orang yang dah berumur....Adussss dah la aku bawak 4 orang yang berumur ari tu...cian diorang. Why???
Bcoz Hamin Lodge nya building sebenarnya adalah shop lot yang direnovate jadi sebuah motel. So no lift...Conclusionnya...motel ni sesuai kalo you all datang secara back packers, tak sesuai untuk family...
- In term of location, motel ni memang out bila tiba waktu malam. Why???? rupanya kat situ adalah tempat pondan-pondan from Philipine mencari pelanggan. Adussss, aku kena marah ja dengan Angah aku hari tu sebab booking tempat ntah apa-apa.
-Anyway, one of the reason aku pilih motel ni pun sebab nak family room. Which is the rate is quit cheap. Plus, we just stay there to sleep.
-The reply about the booking is quit fast, the next day the staff replied my booking and i proceed with bank in some deposit of RM30 i guess...

- This is the 2nd place where we stayed
- Kalo tengok website, memang the place look like what it is shown
- Memang aku berpuas hati dengan service and bilik diorang. Cuma satu jek...(toilet x dek pili air kat toilet)huhuhu. Anyway, that one we can telorate with ;)
-The staff replied the next day i made the online booking. So i can proceed with 50% deposit
-Bilik kat situ semuanya standard room, the rate differ bcoz of the view from the room.
-Anyway, aku boleh dapatkan view facing gunung kinabalu with the lowest rate. hehehehe. How??? ask the staff to give you bilik yang facing the mount kinabalu. Kalo tak full house, diaorang mesti bagi punya....
-Conclusion, memang best

- Bilik and location memang aku puas ati
-booking also made thru online, tapi....lamabt nak mampus diorang reply....memang sebelum ni pun..aku ada baca comment from many tourist yang penah book thru them complaining about the reservation process. Which is very slow....
- So, if you plan to stay there... be prepare to receive late reply. For me the room is very satisfy though + very cheap

-I booked for apartment with 3 rooms, it's very great for those who come in group. Eg. 7 people like us :D

Tomorrow is history, Future is mystery, Today is Gift & that's why it called Present

This evening my friend, reimy send me sms mentioned that his dear grandfather passed away. He is quite close to his grandfather...he must be having a great shocked. Well..yes he is..cause he's almost crying when me and my best friend Aida have a chat with him just now. But we trying to drag him to another topic and trying not to discuss about the deceased much.

Talking about losing somebody you luv is really touching. I myself lost my dear father in 2000...on the 1st April. April fool, anyhow i hate what people call 'April fool', cause i didn't celebrate it. My mom always say that i'm my father's daughter, well..she's absolutely true about that. Reason? cause i'm the only chidlren who assemble his traits..lol and the only child that dare to disobey him...hehehehe. Somehow, this bad trait that i have make a good chemistry between me and him. He always in my prayer...may his soul be blessed..Amin

After visit the decease, me and Aida head to Kuah, we stopped at Pizza Ria next to Citin Hotel. Suprisingly, there's no pizza for tonight...LOL, so the waitress suggested us to order pasta...Hmmm...

We only have juice to heal our dry throat and head to Artisan Pizza in Cenang. We choose 'plain seafood pizza with extra mozarella cheese' yum yum yum :D + Masala chicken pizza for my bro. He'll stay up tonight for final match of EURO 08
So last words...today is a gift for us. Embrace and appreciate it!

Plan to Sabah

It's about one more month to Sabah, so i'm busy doing booking for rooms and car rental.

Car rental in Sabah
According to my friend who work in Tourism Malaysia Sabah, car rental in KK is very expensive. We are 8 people, meaning that we need a van to accomodate all of us + with the shopping bags of course. I google through internet and find out that her words is true. Kia pregio can cost you RM300 to RM450 per day! I can't tolerate with that price of course. Anyhow, with little patience 'googling' i found an advertisement mentioned the rental for Kia Pregio is only at RM280 per day. So i decided to give them a call, and try to negociate. A guy named Azfan agreed to give me the rate of RM250, i try to bargain for more,but doesn't work out :p . But still Alhamdullillah it suit my budget :D

Rooms Booking
Since we will visit Kundasang on the 2nd day, my angah suggest me to book rooms at Kinabalu Pine Resort. After read the details through the official website and people review i must say that this is the best choice for us. So i give them a call n do the booking. Must give 50% deposit before 14 July...ok dokie..

For the 3rd till 5th day, we are planning to stay in KK. The reason? shopping of course....lol i must obey the majority opinion :p those makcik2 wanna do shopping. For this last 2 days, we choose promenade apartment. So i give them a call, as usual & choose the 3 bed room apartment. Well ,i think it's good enough for 8 of us. While for the 1st day in KK i make my own choice to stay at Hamin Lodge. It seem an interesting place to check in, cause they have this traditional decoration in almost everything..the furnitures, decorations & the staffs...i'll see if it's true for the staff on the day of arrival ...lol. But i'm sure my mom would luv it so much. After all, this holiday is for her.
